2016 Builds: Cousineau Street Update and Announcement of New Property in Orléans
Cousineau Street Construction: Despite a number of delays, our Construction Manager Steve and our volunteers have been working overtime to finish our four homes in Orléans. Three of the four homes are at the painting stage and drywall is going up in the fourth home. The Dedication Ceremony will take place later this spring once the driveway and parking pads are completed. Stay tuned for more event details.

Special thanks as well to all of our volunteers, Adopt-a-Day teams, sponsors, food donors, suppliers and tradespeople for helping make the dream of homeownership a reality for our four Habitat Partner Families.

Join Women Build 2016
Last year, our Women Build teams amazed us with their fundraising expertise, sense of fun and community spirit. These women, who came from all walks of life, addressed the housing crisis facing thousands of families across our city in a concrete way by raising more than $114,000 for Habitat GO. Way to go, ladies!
This spring we will launch our 2016 Women Build program, an initiative to encourage women to give back to their community while helping Habitat GO make a difference in the lives of low-income families. We're looking for 15 teams of women who are enthusiastic about Habitat GO's mission to build safe and affordable homes. No build experience required! Click here to learn more.

We love Chris Smith at Habitat GO! He's been donating the proceeds from his annual Christmas tree and wreath sale since 1999. These legendary evergreens have a very loyal following!
He stopped by our office on Belfast Road last month to present a cheque to Alexis Ashworth, our CEO. This year's donation was for a remarkable $3,900! Big thanks to Chris and his team for helping us build more homes in our community!
