Jeanne d'Arc Build
We are excited to be returning to Orleans this spring as we begin our largest project to date! We will be building 16 townhomes at the corner of Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard and Fortune Drive with Phase 1 (four townhouses) beginning in the late spring of 2017. We will have a number of Theme Build and Build Programs underway, including the Carter Work Project, a Military Build and much more.
Big thanks to the four climbers from Dream Mountains who have raised more than $21,000 for Habitat GO. Byron, Natalie, Heather and Megan are in Tanzania getting ready to climb Mount Kilimanjaro next week. We wish them all the best! Have you ever wanted to do a Global Village build? Marc Caron, team leader with Habitat for Humanity Canada's Global Village, is assembling a team of 12 to 16 volunteers for a build in Fiji from September 24 to October 4. The costs range from $4,500 to $4,800, which includes airfare, transportation, room and board and R&R.
