Helping families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership
Welcome Home, Michaelis Family!
Thank you to everyone who attended our 2017 Crampton Drive Key Ceremony in Carleton Place on Thursday, March 23.
We are incredibly grateful to Steve Walsh, our Construction Manager, and all of our hard-working and dedicated Crew Leads, volunteers, local Chapter, sponsors, tradespeople, suppliers, Women Build, Youth Build and Adopt-a-Day teams.
Thanks to all of you, our third build to date in Carleton Place has been successfully completed and Shane and Laura are officially Habitat GO homeowners! Please click here to view photos from the ceremony.
If you know anyone who would like to apply to be a future homeowner for our upcoming builds, we are currently accepting applications for our largest development to date in Orleans. Jeanne d'Arc Build
We are excited to be returning to Orleans this spring as we begin our largest project to date! We will be building 16 townhomes at the corner of Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard and Fortune Drive with Phase 1 (four townhouses) beginning in the late spring of 2017. We will have a number of Theme Build and Build Programs underway, including the Carter Work Project, a Military Build and much more.
Big thanks to the four climbers from Dream Mountains who have raised more than $21,000 for Habitat GO. Byron, Natalie, Heather and Megan are in Tanzania getting ready to climb Mount Kilimanjaro next week. We wish them all the best! To date, Dream Mountains has raised more than $1 million for six local charities, including Habitat GO. To learn more . . .
